EU careers

The Path to an EU career is a project funded by the Helia Foundation that develops a study module for students aiming for an EU career.

In recent years, Finland has faced a challenge as a member of the EU: Finns who have had an EU career are retiring, and the relative share of Finns among EU officials is decreasing. This may make it more difficult to promote issues important to Finland as knowledge of the country becomes thinner.

In the ongoing project, background research on competence needs will be carried out, and a study module will be created based on it. The project creates learning materials and course contents for new courses in the study module.

The study module is marketed to Haaga-Helia alumni already in working life, mainly working in administrative positions, as well as to current BBA degree students. The funding can also be used to pilot parts of the study module, collect feedback on the contents and further develop it.
