The project will support continuous learning and career extension for people over 50 by giving them the opportunity to use and update their skills and train as entrepreneurs.
The 50+ KoKo project will test and develop entrepreneurship training for people aged 50+. It will build regional networks, identify regional needs and develop training based on them.
The development will be particularly relevant to the development of areas around towns and cities. Drawing on the experience and skills of the over 50s is important to strengthen the vitality of these areas.
Interaction between urban and rural areas will be increased by encouraging municipalities, businesses, associations and residents to work together for local and regional development.
The entrepreneurship training to be developed in the 50+ KoKo project aims to
- draw on the experience and expertise of experienced 50+ professionals
- responding to the challenges of the areas around cities
- providing services to meet the needs of the regions
- support the social, cultural, economic and environmental well-being of the regions.
Key outputs of the project
- Creation of regional networks and promotion of cooperation
- Organisation of regional events and activities
- An entrepreneurship training programme for 50+ entrepreneurs, with interactive tools, training and support material for ideating and planning sustainable business.
