The 3AMK Moves project supports the physical, psychical and social well-being of students and the entire higher education community through movement and physical activity.
The project invites the entire 3AMK community to design a common activity guideline to conduct the everyday practices and choices of higher education institutions.
The aim is to develop higher education culture through movement to support learning, well-being and communality. Higher education culture is developed together by:
- Creating a common activity guideline that encourages the 3AMK higher education community to take movement into account and increase it in all its activities
- Creating and launching pedagogical practices that promote study ability in counselling and teaching to increase movement
- Targeting interventions and pilots especially to increase sedentary students’ movement and physical activity.
The 3AMK Moves project is linked to the Government Programme Get Finland Moving and the project cooperates with On the Move programme Liikkuva opiskelu functions. The project has received funding from the Ministry of Education and Culture.
