Trainers
Lecturers in management and HR skills Mr. Yücel Ger and Mrs. Marika Alhonen.
Yucel's areas of expertise include leadership and organizational development, human resource management, teamwork, team leadership and shared/collective leadership, self-direction and leadership of self-directed teams. He holds a PhD in leadership development.
Yucel has 17 years of experience as a trainer and coach. He has led several projects and project teams simultaneously. In addition, Yucel has extensive experience as an entrepreneur and a professional in the private sector.
Marika is a Master of Science (Econ.) and an ICF-certified Business Coach. She has an Everything DiSC trainer certificate and has participated in the Kaos Pilots trainings Art and Craft of Facilitating Learning Spaces. She works as a lecturer and as well LAB8 Service Design Lead and StartUp School coach at Haaga-Helia UAS.
She has worked at Haaga-Helia since 2009 and before that as a trainer and service developer in service companies. Marika's expertise combines coaching skills and many years of service design experience. She teaches service design through concrete projects and guides students to learn service design in practice. She has facilitated numerous workshops and longer trainings, utilizing pedagogical expertise combined with service design methods and tools. Marika is an experienced team coach and uses service design and coaching tools in all her work, striving to promote self-leadership, change and learning in an inspiring way.
