Please read carefully the enrollment instructions for the Open UAS studies.

General information 

The link to enrolment and enrolment periods can be found under the information of each study. Students are accepted in order of registration, unless otherwise stated. The study is carried out during the time period indicated in the course description of each study

Success in studies requires good knowledge of the language of instruction and sufficient study skills. Completing studies in English requires good written and oral English skills. Learning tasks are always completed in the language of instruction of the course.

The study fee is paid upon registration. The amoint of the study fee is stated in the information of each study. See the payment and cancellation terms at the end of this page. Payment of the semester fee is only possible for separately agreed student groups. We reserve the right to change the study fees.

Please note! In order to complete Master level studies, you must have completed a bachelor´s  degree suitable for the studies. A request for the delivery of the certificate will be sent you by e-mail after registration. The required certificate must be submitted within the requested time or the registration will be cancelled. See below in more detail in the section Admission requirements.

If there are no available seats in the studies you are interested in, you can join the waiting list for free. If a seat becomes available, you will be notified at the email address you provided during enrollment. The e-mail message contains a link through which you have two days from the receipt of the message to register for the available seat. The tuition fee is paid at the time of registration.

Please note! From 9.5.2025 onwards only students who have a Finnish personal identity code can enrol on Haaga-Helia’s Open UAS courses. An exception to the requirement is the following: Haaga-Helia’s Ulysseus partner university students who participate in Haaga-Helia’s course offering in the Ulysseus cooperation.

Enrollment periods

Enroll now for courses in the Autumn term 2025! Enrollment for open path studies in the Autumn 2025 has ended.  

Enrollment for open path studies for students who are continuing their studies at the Open UAS

The enrollment period for open path studies for students who are continuing their studies at the Haaga-Helia Open UAS in the Spring 2026: 24.11.2025 at 9 AM.-1.12.2025 3 PM. 

Please note: During the enrollment period for students who are continuing their studies, only those students who have previously studied at Haaga-Helia Open UAS are allowed to enroll for pathway studies. If a new student enrolls during the enrollment period intended only for continuing students, their registration will be removed, and the study fee will not be refunded.

Enrollment open to everyone

Enrollment open to everyone for studies in the Spring 2026 will start on December 5, 2025 at 9:00 AM. 

Seats will be filled in the order of enrollment, if not otherwise stated. 

CampusOnline Studies

Starting from January 1, 2025, students of Haaga-Helia’s Open UAS will not be able to register for CampusOnline courses, as the course registration has been moved to the national cross-enrollment service (RIPA). Currently, only degree students of Haaga-Helia UAS can register for courses in RIPA.

Admission Requirements

Payment and Cancellation Terms

Registration for studies is binding. The study fee will not be refunded.

Exceptions may be:

  • cancellations based on a medical certificate or
  • those registered as open path students, who will be accepted as degree students of Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences for the corresponding degree before the start of path studies.

    Possible cancellations of registration due to the aforementioned reasons must be done without delay, no later than two weeks before the start of the studies, by email to [email protected], and they will be processed on a case-by-case basis.

Enrollment will be removed and you are not entitled to a refund of the tuition fee if

  • you do not have a Finnish personal ID code but you have enrolled. From 9.5.2025 onwards only students who have a Finnish personal identity code can enrol on Haaga-Helia’s open UAS studies. An exception to the requirement is the following: Haaga-Helia’s Ulysseus partner university students who participate in Haaga-Helia’s course offering in the Ulysseus cooperation.
  • a new student has enrolled in a enrollment period intended only for continuing students
  • a student does not submit the diploma required for Master's level studies by the time given in accordance with the instructions received in the email after registration.
  • you do not follow the assignments and deadlines defined by the teacher of the course, or if you do not notify your absence to the teacher in advance on the first class

If after the enrollment, you coose to demonstrate your competence, the study fee will not be returned.

Becoming a degree student at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences after the open path studies have started or entering another university of applied sciences or educational institution as a degree student does not entitle you to a fee refund. 

Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences has the right to cancel studies due to a small number of registered students or other similar reasons. Enrollees will be notified of a possible cancellation of studies and the study fee will be refunded. If one of the courses belonging to a study unit has to be canceled, we will primarily try to find a compensatory course. If a compensatory course cannot be found and the study fee remains higher than the original study fee/ECTS credit, we will refund the excess part of the study fee.

Payment Service Provider

Paytrail Oyj is a collecting payment service provider and an authorized Payment Institution working in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Oyj will forward the payment to the merchant. For complaints, please contact the website the payment was made to.
