CASSINI Hackathon consists of 3 challenges - pick the one that inspires you the most:

• Immersive gameplay with space technology and data
• Space-powered performance: transforming sports
• Beyond horizons: redefining travel with space innovation

The 10th CASSINI Hackathon challenges you to create novel solutions that will reshape the consumer experience. The Hackathon is organised simultaneously in ten countries, and the theme for this year is EU Space for Consumer Experience. Helsinki Think Company is proud to be the local organiser for Finland. 

Will you be behind the next breakthrough in immersive gameplay? 

Could your idea make travel planning more seamless? Will future athletes thank your solution for improving their performance? 
 

During the 3-day runtime, hackathon participants will develop an idea, research the market, and design a compelling pitch. You’ll explore the data available from Copernicus, EGNOS and Galileo. On the final day, the judging panel picks 3 winning teams.

Event details

When and where? 7-9 November at Terkko Health Hub, Helsinki, and online.
What can I win? The first prize is 5000€, as well as 6 months of mentoring to take your idea forward! There will be additional local prizes too.

While waiting for the hackathon to begin, mark your calendars for the info session event on Wednesday 15 October (18-20 at Kumpula Campus, Exactum building, K1 floor) to hear more about the Hackathon, and Wednesday 22 October (18-20 at Haaga-Helia) to get inspired about space tech and consumerism together with XES.
