Turkish Airlines has been Haaga-Helia’s partner since 2009, making it one of its longest-standing collaborators.
A concrete highlight of the collaboration is the annual event that culminates in awarding scholarships to two students in the fields of tourism or aviation. The scholarship includes a round-trip ticket to any Turkish Airlines destination.
This year’s event took place at the Haaga campus on 26 November and was organized as a course project by a second-year tourism student group. The program featured information stands, an airline-themed quiz, and a raffle, accompanied by Turkish tea and treats.
The scholarships were awarded to Haaga third-year students Wilma Korpirinne and Hansel Aloysious Haroon.
