Nana Europe is Haaga-Helia's new partner
Hideki Ogawa, CEO of Nana Europe, values Haaga-Helia’s practical approach to learning and believes in students’ ability to support the company, especially in marketing-related tasks.
Body
Nana Europe is a company with nearly 30 years of experience across multiple industries. Their operations range from wood planing and timber sales to importing Japanese food products and exporting mobile saunas. Most recently, the company has started importing Dartslive electronic dartboards and operates as a service provider by placing Soft Darts machines in restaurants, bars and arcades.
The Managing Director of Nana Europe, innovative and strongly entrepreneurial Hideki Ogawa, describes the partnership with Haaga-Helia:
– We value Haaga-Helia’s wide range of study offerings and strong connections to work-life. We see Haaga-Helia as a provider of practical education with an international perspective. Students’ enthusiasm is something we hope will inspire us. We are eager to gain fresh perspectives, ideas and solutions, says Ogawa.
Partnership starts with course collaboration
The partnership between Haaga-Helia and Nana Europe is already taking shape. During a course, students will support the company in increasing awareness of Soft Darts among selected target groups.
– Our goal is to increase awareness of Soft Darts, identify target audiences and reach end users. This will help us find suitable and profitable locations for our machines, says Ogawa.
– Interest in Japan has grown in Finland, and one interesting phenomenon is Soft Darts, which is especially popular among young people in Japan. In our Marketing communications planning course, we explore whether Soft Darts could gain similar interest in Finland. During the course, students will create an integrated marketing plan for Nana Europe, with a strong focus on customer insight and multichannel communication, says Mia Roos, Senior Lecturer in Marketing and Communication.
Overall, the partnership provides both students and Nana Europe with opportunities for learning and development.
