Master seminars and thesis workshops in the autumn 2025 

Master seminars will no longer be organised from autumn 2025. In the future, the thesis will be presented by making a video recording on the Teams channel of your own specialisation. 

The thesis workshops support the planning and implementation of the Master thesis and are intended for all Master students. Participating in the workshops is voluntary and does not accumulate study points, but according to the feedback, they are useful at every stage of the thesis. Enroll for thesis workshop in Webropol.

Kiertotalous: Kilpailukyky ja planeettamme pelastus (Only in Finnish)

On suositeltavaa, että jokainen Haaga-Helian tutkinto-opiskelija opiskelee vähintään yhden kiertotalouskurssin. Huom! Syksyllä 2025 opintonsa aloittavien Master-opiskelijoiden opetussuunnitelmaan kuuluu pakollinen Corporate Responsibilty Management -opintojakso, joka järjestetään keväällä 2026. 

Kiertotalouden opintojaksoilla opit, kuinka rakennetaan kestävää hiilineutraalia tulevaisuutta. Liiketoiminnan kehittämisessä hyödynnetään kiertotalousajattelua (RETHINK) - kaikki materiaalit kiertävät, ei muodostu jätettä eikä päästöjä. 

Syksyn 2025 opintojaksot  

Kiertotalouden ja ympäristövaikutusten johtaminen (5 op)   

• Opintojaksolla saat kokonaiskuvan, miten kiertotalouteen perustuvaa liiketoimintaa ja ympäristövastuuta johdetaan sekä miten kestävä strategia ja toimintatavat jalkautetaan.  
• 20.10.–12.12., online maanantaisin klo 17.40

Kiertotalouden liiketoiminnan ja palveluiden kehittäminen (5 op)

Autumn's 3AMK courses

Futures Week: Developing Futures Thinking, 5 ECTS 

In a rapidly changing world, leaders and organizations must anticipate, prepare for, and adapt to future shifts. This intensive course equips students with the tools and skills to engage in futures thinking and foresight. The theme of this year is the Future Work and Competences, and the course enrolment can be made in Peppi (the course is under Haaga-Helia, so RIPA function is not needed). Read more on 3AMK websites. 

TKI-osaaja – tutkimus-, kehittämis- ja innovaatiotoiminta tutuksi (5 op)

Library Info Sessions Started on September 2

The library is offering open info sessions on Teams. Topics include using the Mendeley reference manager, searching information with or without AI, and guidance on finding market and company data. You can find the September session schedule and participation instructions here.

Course Connect: International Career Week 22–24.9

We are thrilled to organise our first Course Connect: International Career Week from 22–24 September. During the week we will invite 15 different companies to campus. They will have the chance to present their organisation, company culture, introduce potential future positions and network with our students. The week is comprised of the 3 events, a prep-day, a Business day and an ICT day. 

Course Connect: International Career Week kicks off with our prep day, where students have the chance to learn networking skills, body language skills and tips from Jochen Faugel. The prep day will take place from 14.30–16.30 in room 8202. 

The week will continue on 23 September with our Business Day and then concludes on 24 September with our ICT DAY. Both the ICT and Business Day will take place from 11.30–16.00. Each day will have 1 hour of company presentations and then 1 hour of networking.
