Photography club, chess club, football club, nature club, art club, running club, book club, movie club, coding club, crafts club... What would you like to do together with other students? With Helga's support, you can start your own club and bring together people who share your interests. Explore existing clubs or learn how to start your own on Helga's website.

Funding for club activities

You can now also apply for financial support for club activities! Funding is available for both new and existing clubs.

Funding can be used for:

• Supplies and equipment: for example, a new board game for a board game club, sports equipment for a sports club, etc.
• Travel expenses: for example, transportation costs for a nature club visiting a nature destination, etc.
• Instructor fees: for example, a private lesson from a dance instructor for a dance club, or a facilitated workshop for a theatre club, etc.
• Other expenses: for example, court rental fees for a padel club, etc.

To be eligible for funding, the club must be open to all students of the 3AMK universities (Haaga-Helia, Laurea, and Metropolia), and participation must be possible in English.

Apply for funding via the Webropol form by 30.9.2026. The application should include contact details of the club founder, a brief describtion of the club's activity plan and a description of what the funding will be used for.
