Guests from Indianapolis IUPUI (Indiana University-Purdue University) visited Haaga-Helia last Friday. Guests came to the campus to meet William Helling, who works in Haaga-Helia as a researcher through the cultural exchange program Fulbright.

At the same time, they also got acquainted with Haaga-Helia's lesson with lecturer Katriina Karkimo, while her students were presenting group work they had done during the Digital Service Design course.

— International guests were an excellent addition to our last day of the course. I think my students got extra motivation to give their presentations, she says.

According to Karkimo, Haaga-Helia's students were positively surprised by the international guests, and everything went even better than she expected. The comments and feedback given by the guests meant a lot to Haaga-Helia's students.

The Digital Service Design course aimed to produce a lightweight digital solution that would allow potential new members to become acquainted with the services of the YTK association, and at the same time collect their contact details for possible contacts.

In the end, the students also got some time to learn to know each other. Haaga-Helia's students were happy to share tips on where to go in Helsinki and what to do here.

The sauna was the absolute number one recommendation, but Linnanmäki also aroused interest.
