This year’s competition had a record level of participation from Haaga-Helia, with nine teams entering the initial qualification round. Five of the six best scoring teams that advanced to the national finals were from Haaga-Helia.

The finals consisted of two stages: an online session where the teams introduced themselves, followed by a full on-site day including a project simulation. The simulation tested teams’ ability to manage complex projects under changing conditions.

Haaga-Helia’s students performed excellently, demonstrating strong project management skills. As a result, team Concluders from Haaga-Helia took the first place, securing a spot in the international finals in Athens.

The judges praised the team for their strong branding and presentation style, as well as their consistency and ability to stay focused on the project goals throughout the competition.

The winners:

1. The Concluders: Eleanor Barbrow, Nguyen Thao Lam Hoang, Murtaza Manuchehr and Hong Tran, Haaga-Helia

2. Team Savonia Synergy, Savonia

3. Team Callista: Dinusha Bernard, Maraki Dawit, Lisari Ranasinghe and Katri Tero, Haaga-Helia

– The competition is an excellent opportunity for students to learn how to lead a project as a team effort. It also allows them to meet a lot of new people and grow networks which might be beneficial in their future careers, comments Anne Wuokko, senior lecturer from Haaga-Helia.
