Teaching planned for spring 2027 at Malmi Campus will be transferred to Pasila Campus. Students' daily lives will continue smoothly despite the change.
Body
The operations of Haaga-Helia at Malmi Campus will end already at the turn of the year 2026–27. The City of Helsinki will begin renovation work on the premises in January 2027, and we will move out of the campus at the end of the autumn semester, slightly earlier than originally planned. The original plan was to vacate the campus in summer 2027.
Students pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Administration at Malmi will begin the spring semester of 2027 at Pasila Campus. The change will affect approximately 150 students.
– We warmly welcome all students transferring to Pasila. At Pasila, students will find well-functioning facilities and a community that supports learning and wellbeing. The transition will be as smooth as possible for students, says Susanna Niinistö-Sivuranta, President of Haaga-Helia.
The decision to give up Malmi Campus was made and communicated at the beginning of 2025. Haaga-Helia’s Haaga Campus was closed at the end of the spring semester 2026, and teaching has been transferred to Pasila Campus and RestoCamp, located in Mall of Tripla.
From the beginning of 2027, Haaga-Helia will have only one campus in Helsinki. The other campuses are located at Porvoo Campus and Vierumäki Campus, and their operations will continue as before.
