Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences has for years engaged in close and fruitful partnership cooperation with the globally respected airline, Turkish Airlines. We have now signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), directing our focus even more strongly toward the future of the aviation industry.

Until now, the collaboration between Haaga-Helia and Turkish Airlines has focused particularly on our hospitality management students. With the newly signed agreement, we are taking the next strategic step: we will deepen and expand our cooperation within the Aviation Business degree programme.

Our goal is to bring the latest industry expertise and the experience of a global airline into the everyday lives of our students. In addition, we will offer Turkish Airlines employees increasingly flexible and diverse opportunities to develop their competencies and to obtain higher education degrees within our aviation programmes.

– When we combine academic ambition with global aviation expertise, the sky is the limit for mutual development and shared success, comments Ari Etelävuori, Team Leader of the Aviation Business programme.

– This partnership is an excellent example of how long-term cooperation evolves into new opportunities for the higher education institution, the company, and above all, for the future professionals of the aviation industry, summarizes Sonja Etelävuori, Senior Lecturer in Tourism Business.

– Turkish Airlines is really excited about this new step of our co-operation and will promote Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences education in all our network, says Utku Yazan, General Manager Finland.

– Partnership cooperation is continuously evolving collaboration between companies, Haaga-Helia experts, and students. Cooperation can be described as highly successful when it creates value for all parties involved, thanks Kia Lindström, Customer Relationship Manager of the partner programme.
