Congratulations to autumn 2025 graduates!

Haaga-Helia organises two graduation ceremonies every year. This winter, the celebrations took place for the second time in the congress wing of Finlandia Hall. All degree students who graduated during the autumn semester were invited to graduation.

Congratulations to 1 025 new professionals

Of the 1 025 students who applied for graduation in the autumn semester, 861 have completed a bachelor's degree and 164 a master's degree*. When they graduated, they joined Haaga-Helia's alumni community, which already has nearly 50 000 members.

The festive event was opened by President, CEO Teemu Kokko. Sampsa Siitonen, who was chosen as Alum of the Year, received the award, which was presented by Alumni Relations Specialist Elina El Amrani.

Sampsa also gave an inspiring alum speech to the graduates. In his speech, he encouraged graduates to head toward their dreams and told how he has sometimes failed in his career, but continued vigorously to pursue his dreams.

The celebration was hosted by Elisa Laatikainen and Kevin Gore. The music by Poppy String Quartet set the scene.

Recognition for distinguished graduates

At the ceremony, graduates with scholarships were awarded. The scholarship was awarded to a total of 53 graduates, 34 of whom were present at the ceremony.
