375 graduates from the School of Professional Teacher Education

A total of 375 students graduated from the School of Professional Teacher Education during this academic year (1 August 2025–10 June 2026). Of these, 310 graduated as professional teachers. A total of 33 graduated as professional special needs teachers and 32 as professional guidance counsellors.

At Haaga-Helia, it is possible to study to become a teacher in both Finnish- and English-language groups. Of the new teachers graduating this academic year, 15 completed their studies in the international English-language group.

The studies of new teacher students are already underway. This year, more than 434 new students were admitted to the School of Professional Teacher Education, and their studies began in May. The next application period to the School of Professional Teacher Education will be in January 2027.
