A warm welcome to Haaga-Helia's spring graduation ceremony 2026 on Tuesday 16 June.

Haaga-Helia's graduation ceremony will take place at Finlandia Hall (Mannerheimintie 13, Helsinki).

All degree students who have applied for graduation during the spring semester and will graduate by the end of June are welcome to attend (Bachelor and Master graduates from Helsinki, Porvoo and Vierumäki campuses).

Programme

The ceremony starts at 14:00. The programme typically includes festive music, speeches and presentation of graduates and scholarship awardees. Cake is offered after the ceremony.

Dress code: Semi-formal attire.

Pre-registration is required to attend the ceremony. The registration link is on the confirmation of your graduation application.

Remember to apply for graduation on time.

Follow the ceremony online

Graduates' family and friends can follow the ceremony also via streaming. The ceremony will not be recorded.

Frequently asked questions

Students graduating from Haaga-Helia's Bachelor's or Master's degrees will receive an electronically signed degree certificate, which they download for themselves. Haaga-Helia does not use paper degree certificates. Electronic diplomas were introduced at Haaga-Helia in January 2024.

Graduates are seated in groups according to their degree: for example, all Bachelor of Sports Studies graduates together, or all MBA graduates together. Seats are not named, so you may sit next to a friend who is graduating from the same degree. A seating order will be sent to the graduates by email before the ceremony. Please check your seating in advance from the email.

You can wear a UAS cap during your studies with a general upper secondary school/vocational school cockade and change the cockade to bachelor degree model when you graduate. You can use a master's cockade when you have completed a master's degree at a university of applied sciences. The color of the cap's ribbon depends on your degree.

The cap is optional. If you have a cap, you may wear it to the graduation ceremony.
