Course Connect: International Career Week Prep Day
Haaga-Helia is excited to organize our first International Career Week! Our Prep-Day is designed to help students and alumni prepare to meet and network with company representatives
Haaga-Helia's Career Services and International Services are thrilled to host our first international career week. During the week, students and alumni will have the opportunity to learn more about Finnish working culture and meet representatives from 16 different companies.
Our International Career Week is comprised of 3 separate events—first on Monday, 22 September, a prep day where career coach, Jochen Faugel, will talk about body language and networking skills. Tuesday, 23 September, will be our Business Day, in which we will invite 8 different companies to meet our students and alumni. Our week will conclude with our ICT Day on 24 September, where we will again invite another 8 companies to visit our Pasila campus.
About the Prep Day
The prep date for Course Connect: International Career Week will occur on Monday, 22 September, from 14.30 to 16.30. The event will take place in room 8202 (8th floor) on Haaga-Helia's Pasila campus.
In this event, students have the opportunity to hear from expert career coach, Jochen Faugel, on the impact of one's body language on networking and how to network with companies. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from a former student on how they navigated the Finnish job market. The final portion of the event will cover networking. Event attendees will get networking tips and tricks to prepare for the rest of the week.

We have limited space for the event. If you are interested in attending, please sign up in advance. Students and alumni are welcome to participate in the whole week or whatever session or event fits their schedule.
