The LAB8´s trend report Cheers! The Coolest Beverage Trends in 2022 will focus on this year's trendiest drinks. The topicality of these trends in Finland is assessed by Haaga-Helia's Hospitality Research Panel.

These beverage trends include new innovations in both content and packaging. New ways have been developed to reduce the carbon footprint in beverage packaging. Labels are made from organic paper with seeds to be planted. Coca-Cola is also piloting a new soft drink refill with refillable beverage packaging. Hybrid drinks are made from plant and dairy milk. Coffee, on the other hand, has found its way into smoothies.
