Jarkko Niemi is a researcher in personal selling. He has background in linguistics and in conversation analysis. Niemi has studied for example rapport building and decision-making in b2b sales interaction, and combined research on salesperson-customer interaction to the AI based analysis of facial expression and measures of GSR (Galvanic Skin Response) at the SalesLab.
Niemi leads the research project “Sisu työelämässä” (Grit at work) at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences.
