Inara Shakirova started her teaching career in 1996 in Russia. Shakirova completed pedagogical studies in the University of Helsinki and Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in 2014. In 2020 Shakirova started studying in Practitioner Professional Development Programme in Educational Assessment run by the University of Cambridge, as part of a progression route to the Cambridge Masters (MEd).
In Haaga-Helia Shakirova teaches face-to-face and online specialist ESL courses (Business and ICT English, English for academic purposes, Communication with Impact, etc.) and Russian language courses from the beginner level (the language of instruction is Finnish) to full working proficiency.
