The tuition fees from 1 January 2022 are:
- EUR 9,500.00 per academic year for Bachelor´s programmes, and
- EUR 10,500.00 per academic year for Master's degree programme
The updated fees will apply to new degree students starting their studies from 1 January 2022 onwards.
Students who start their studies on 1 August 2024 onwards, need to pay the tuition fee for the first two semesters at once.
Tuition fees are always paid in full, and scholarships are paid separately.
Please notice, that European Joint Master of Business Administration, AI for Business Transformation programme has an exception to Tuition Fees and other costs. Read the information below.
Please note that housing costs, meal plans or health insurance are not included in the tuition fee. So, make sure you have enough financial means to pay your rent, personal expenses, transportation costs, meals, insurance etc.
Finnish immigration service requires that you have at least EUR 560 at your disposal every month to be able to pay for your accommodation, food and other needs. So, in addition to the tuition fee, you must have EUR 6,720 to be able to study in Finland for a year and to get a residence permit in Finland. Haaga-Helia UAS uses Flywire service for all tuition fee payments. We will send payment instructions together with Flywire payment link to all students who are required to pay tuition fees.
According to the Universities of Applied Sciences Act, a student may enrol as absent for the first academic year only due to legal reasons (Act 932/2014):
- Military service according to the Conscription Act (1438/2007), Non-Military Service Act (1446/2007), or Women's Voluntary Military Service Act (194/1995) in Finland
- The student needs time off their studies to take care of a child in regard to the child’s birth or adoption (14.1.2022/52)
- An illness or injury, which prevents you from beginning the studies (affects your right to be absent later)
Please note that deferring the study place for any other reasons is not possible.
Information regarding tuition fees for existing students
A student should be prepared to pay half of the annual tuition fee before enrolling for attendance for the next academic semester. The tuition fee payments for spring semester are due in November, and the tuition fee payments for autumn semester are due in May.
Students who are required to pay the tuition fee will receive instructions from Study Services via email.
