Lead paragraph
Students with a valid study right at the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences can book and take electronic exams that are related to courses they are completing. Ask your course teacher for more information.
Before entering the exam room your identity is verified.
There are pens and note papers in the exam room. You are not allowed to bring any books, magazines, your own writing tools, or other materials, nor any phones, smartwatches, or other devices.
Outerwear, hats, caps, and scarves must be stored in a locker/cabinet during the exam. The examinee must be identifiable on the video recording, so the face be clearly visible. The ears must also be visible to ensure that the examinee does not have, for example, earphones or similar devices.
You are not allowed to talk in the exam room or leave during the exam.
Deviation from these Exam rules is considered a violation of the Exam rules and the exam will be rejected.
You should discuss any special arrangements with your teacher. If the teacher wants to arrange an 'open book' type exam, it must be held in another room or, for example, as a remote exam using Moodle.
Read exam instructions carefully before the exam and prepare to follow them during the exam.
Exam facilities have recording video surveillance. If you do not follow exam instructions you fail your exam.
