Students of Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences with a valid study right can take exams electronically using the Exam system.
You can only register for electronic exams of courses for which you have been accepted. If needed, ask your course teacher for more information.
The identity of those entering the Exam room will be checked before the exam, and therefore faces must be visible during the identity check. If necessary, the identity check will be carried out by staff of the same gender. If you have any questions about the identity check, you can contact the degree director or the head of the competence area responsible for the course in question.
There are pens and note papers in the exam room. You are not allowed to bring any books, magazines, your own writing tools, or other materials, nor any phones, smartwatches, or other devices.
Outerwear, hats, caps, and scarves must be stored in a locker/cabinet during the exam.
The examinee must be identifiable on the video recording, so the face be clearly visible. The ears must also be visible to ensure that the examinee does not have, for example, earphones or similar devices.
You are not allowed to talk in the exam room or leave during the exam.
Deviation from these Exam rules is considered a violation of the Exam rules and the exam will be rejected.
You should discuss any special arrangements with your teacher. If the teacher wants to arrange an 'open book' type exam, it must be held in another room or, for example, as a remote exam using Moodle.
Read exam instructions carefully before the exam and prepare to follow them during the exam.
Exam facilities have recording video surveillance.
If a student is found to have violated the Exam instructions, it is considered a breach of the usage rules and the exam performance will be rejected. The same rules and guidelines apply to the Exam as to other exams or course performances. All fraudulent activities are strictly prohibited, and any suspected fraud will be handled in accordance with Haaga-Helia’s official guidelines.

If it is not possible for you to take the exam in the Exam room for a justified reason, you can take the exam in a room where a staff member acts as the exam supervisor. In this case, please contact your teacher to arrange the exam time.
During holidays Exam opening hours depend on the campus opening hours (Pasila , Porvoo) and library opening hours (Haaga, Malmi).

Without an identity card, you are not allowed to take the exam.
If you notice that your exam is on another campus, try to cancel and rebook the exam.

Exam rooms are in separate network segment with no access to Internet nor
networks at other schools. You can't take other university’s exam in Haaga-Helia’s Exam room.
