These are the instructions how to install and use Adobe programs from home. The following instructions apply only to staff members and the selected students, who have received a notification via email about the Adobe licensing. The licenses have been applied e.g. to the students in Journalism and to some additional student groups.

You can install the programs to your computer by signing in to:  www.adobe.com

Next, you can choose to continue to the Finnish site or for English language, choose ‘Continue to United States’.

You can continue by choosing ‘Sign in’. 

A sign in window opens. Use your school email in student id format (student-id@myy.haaga-helia.fi).

You will be forwarded to the Haaga-Helia’s sign in page, where you use your email in the same format as before (student-id@myy.haaga-helia.fi). Verify your account with mobile phone as required.

Once you have signed in, you can download and install programs by choosing ‘More’, ‘Creative Cloud Apps’ and ‘View All’ from the menu in the upper right corner.

This will take you to the download page, where you can choose the programs you want to install.

Alternative route to the downloads page is through your profile and then choose ‘Access your apps and services’.

Faculty and students are allowed to install SPSS on their personal computers. If you have older version of SPSS it is recommended that you uninstall before installing new version.  

Only faculty and students are allowed to use SPSS with HH;s license!

Please read installation instructions carefully before installation.

SPSS can be downloaded for following platforms:

• Linux 
• Mac

All Haaga-Helia students can download Office 365 Pro Plus for free on their home computers.

Installing Office 365

1. Sign in at https://portal.office.com/

2. On the upper Right corner click "Install office (Asenna Office)

3. Select "Sace target as" on firfox or "Run" if using chrome
If prompted for "allow this application to make changes" select yes. The install will commence.

4. Once ready You will see a dialogue on this and an animation on how to find the applications on your computer. Close the animation when ready.

As degree student you can download Windows 10 or 11 for free at https://haaga-helia.onthehub.com. You can also find the same webstore using https://onthehub.com, first search your school Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences.

Log in with Haaga-Helia user account (HAKA). At Account Information page use your Haaga-Helia email address.

• Windows 10 for education

You can buy cheaply and easily products for use at home. Log in to Kivuto webstore using the same username and password you use in Haaga-Helia and pay the acquisition with your credit card. Go to https://haaga-helia.onthehub.com or https://onthehub.com (find your school Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences) and log in to webstore with Haaga-Helia username and password.

Windows 10 is free of charge for degree students (notice! use Haaga-Helia email) but you can select and buy other software related to VMware, Data Analysis, Photo, Video & Design, Security & Utilities, Busines & Office.

Note. MS Office can download and install free of charge from Office 365.

You may continue to use Microsoft software obtained prior to becoming ineligible, provided that you do so in accordance with Microsoft Subscription Agreement terms. However you will no longer have access to Microsoft web store or it's benefits, new activations or product keys. Programs are for personal, non-commercial use and you may not transfer, sell, sublicense or lend them.
