Haaga-Helia’s CEDIM (Circular Economy Digital Marketplace) project will pilot a digital marketplace for end-of-use electronics.
EU has defined circular economy and the related closed-loop supply chains as mandatory requirements to reach climate neutrality by 2050. Circular economy needs platforms and digital data solutions to thrive. Platforms bring sellers, buyers, service providers and users together.
The most important objectives of the CEDIM project are to
- research about requirements and opportunities of digital marketplaces for circular economy,
- pilot a digital marketplace and
- increase knowledge and know-how on circular economy in higher education institutions and companies.
