Worldline's Veera Mikkilä and Laura Vänskä visited the Pasila campus, and met with Haaga-Helia's President Minna Hiillos and Account Manager Riku Korosuo to talk about the new partnership. Mikkilä and Vänskä are excited about the future cooperation and are especially looking forward to getting to know Haaga-Helia's students.

Their aim is to introduce the company's activities to students, especially in Finland, but also internationally, as Worldline hires employees for a variety of positions.

– In Finland, we currently have 185 employees, with a focus on customer service and expert positions related to card payments and B2B sales. In our neighbouring country Sweden, we also employ staff in technical roles ranging from IT support to coders, Vänskä says.

Worldline offers a comprehensive induction to new roles, and no previous experience in the financial sector is necessary. At Worldline, newly graduated students or students in the final stages of their studies can work in areas such as payment card customer service as a Customer Advisor or in corporate sales as a Sales Representative.

– In the future, we believe that Haaga-Helia will be able to attract potential payment professionals. We have new career opportunities available and in return, Haaga-Helia's students certainly have potential skills that would also be useful to us, Vänskä says.

Students can find out more about Worldline and the available vacancies on the company's career website Jobteaser and also at recruitment fairs such as Duuniin.net and UraTori. Worldline will also be visible in the spring in its own branded classroom 3002 at Haaga-Helia's Pasila campus.

– Our employees have the opportunity to learn about the payments industry, and to grow and develop with the company. At Worldline, career development is supported by offering opportunities to advance to the most challenging positions within the company. We also attach great importance to work-life balance, so all employees have the opportunity to work part-time remotely. We are also a Great Place to Work certified company. Employee well-being and its promotion is important to us, Vänskä concludes.
