For Haaga-Helia, the partnership has always been a comprehensive and long-term companionship between the university of applied sciences and the company. Our goal has always been to enrich the activities of each party.

The companies gain value for their brand and improve their image as an employer, students learn the competencies that the business world desperately needs, and Haaga-Helia gets to develop its operations and expand its networks.

That being said, maintaining good operations requires systematic and continuous development.

For this reason, Haaga-Helia is currently developing a new type of business partner model together with their business partner and Haaga-Helia's experienced service designers.

According to Haaga-Helia's customer relationship manager Riku Korosuo, Haaga-Helia has nearly a hundred business partners, whose companionship's are of primary importance to a university of applied sciences.

That is also one of the major reasons, why several Haaga-Helia's certified service design experts have been harnessed to develop a better service concept.

— It would have been a bit like a classic shoemaker’s children go barefoot if we sold service design expertise to companies, but we wouldn’t take advantage of it ourselves, he laughs.

In the partner model under development, the price of partner cooperation is staggered, which enables more comprehensive cooperation between the company and Haaga-Helia.

Depending on the partner level, the company has an opportunity to receive, among other things, completely new additional services related to the development of staff skills, the company, brand, or their visibility.

The development includes, among other things, interviews and workshops.

The first workshop was attended by, among others, Accountor, a provider of financial and personnel management software solutions, Ernst & Young, an expert in auditing, taxation, and business law, Saloma Group from the field of marketing communications, and Tuokko, a financial expert organization.
