First Chinese double degree students graduate from the Aviation Business programme
The 54 students of the joint logistics and aviation programme of Haaga-Helia and Chongqing University of Science and Technology have received their diplomas. The graduation ceremony took place on 21 June in Chongqing, China.

The graduates started the Logistics Management & Aviation Business double degree programme in 2019 and are the first aviation professionals to graduate from the programme.
The BBA level double degree was organised in cooperation between Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and Chongqing University of Science and Technology. The studies were carried out in China. Haaga-Helia's business-oriented Aviation Business and the more technical Logistics Management courses of the Cjongqing University complement each other.
– This double degree provides students with a broad overview and a solid foundation for jobs in the industry. Haaga-Helia Porvoo's strong expertise in aviation education enables new international cooperation in education, Haaga-Helia's Commercial Director Anne-Mari Karppinen says.
At the prestigious ceremony, students received their diplomas. Speeches were given by student and faculty representatives and the presidents of both universities. Haaga-Helia's greetings were conveyed on video by President Minna Hiillos.
Haaga-Helia organises education in cooperation with several foreign universities. Education export is one of Haaga-Helia's priorities.
