Status of accessibility

E-lomake fulfills critical accessbility requirements. Any probelms that were found will be fixed as soon as possible.

General

When uploading a file on fails, the notification about it appears at the top of the page, which means that users won't always notice it. The notification can't be removed by clicking on its close button.
When a user is trying to save a parallel form in English and has not filled in all the required fields, the notification about missing answers doesn't appear.

Perceivable

1.1.1 NON-TEXT CONTENT
When uploading an image, the user cannot determine its alt text. The screen reader doesn't find fields' help text or the contents of pop-up notifications, and it skips the clarification fields of radio buttons.
1.3.1 INFO AND RELATIONSHIPS
The header element of the text field table is empty.
1.4.3 CONTRAST (MINIMUM)
Some elements have a weak contrast with their background.

Operable

2.1.1 KEYBOARD
All elements can't be reached with a keyboard. If the user makes mistakes while filling out a form, the warning icons can't be reached with a Tab key, which means that the user can't see the icons' hover text.
2.4.1 BYPASS BLOCKS
The column header field of the text field table has an accesskey attribute, which might conflict with keyboard shortcuts that users have set up.
2.4.6 HEADINGS AND LABELS
The headers of some fields and the fields themselves (i.e. fieldsets) do not have a legend. This affects several field types and the "Proceed" section.

Understandable

3.1.1 LANGUAGE OF PAGE
The lang attribute of an English parallel form is "fi."
If uploading an attachment fails, the notification is in Finnish on an English form, and so is the alt text of the notification's close icon. If saving is in progress, the notification is only in Finnish.
