Newsroom – Innovative journalism

Newsroom is a learning environment and teaching method for journalism students. Newsroom serves as a training facility for students in TV, radio and editorial work.

Haaga-Helia's journalism education is well-known in the Finnish media field and has been awarded for its innovative working life cooperation. In addition to our own diverse group of teachers, a large number of experts and authors from the media industry also visit our courses. Thanks to the close cooperation with working life, the contents of the courses are constantly developing. The journalism education programme also has its own online media 360 degrees of journalism, which is a member of the Council for Mass Media in Finland.

Haaga-Helia's journalism education is a member of the European Journalism Teaching Association and belongs to the national advisory board for journalist education.
