Open Path for International Business Studies, avoin AMK
Complete International Business higher education studies at the Haaga-Helia Open University of Applied Sciences and aim for the degree!
You can study international business regardless of your previous educational background or work experience. You may study flexibly online along with your work. Participating in studies conducted in English requires good oral and written English language skills.
When you accomplish minimum 45 ECTS credits with a minimum weighted GPA of at least 2,50., you may apply as a degree student via open path application.
If you are accepted as a degree student, you may study either as full-time or blended studies. The full-time studies are taught mainly on campus in the daytime. The blended studies are taught in the evenings partially on campus (2-3 evenings weekly) and partially online and are intended for students with prior work experience. The whole degree cannot be completed online.
Open path studies are identical in content for both new and continuing students.

The enrollment period for students who are continuing their open UAS studies enrolling in the open path studies for autumn 2026 is from 11 May at 9 am to 18 May 2026 at 3 pm.
Please note! The registration period for continuing students is intended only for those students who have previously studied at Haaga-Helia’s Open UAS before enrolling. If a new student enrolls during the continuing students’ enrollment period, the enrollment will be cancelled and the study fee will not be refunded.
Enrollment open for everyone for autumn 2026 open path studies has ended. Students are accepted in the order of enrollment.
The study fee is paid at the time of enrollment. We reserve the right to make changes to the study fee for the spring semester 2027.
From 9.5.2025 onwards only students who have a Finnish personal identity code can enroll on Haaga-Helia’s open path studies.
