Building Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Higher Education
A collaboration seminar between Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and Indiana University Indianapolis: Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering.
This two-day seminar will take place on the campus of Haaga-Helia in Helsinki, Finland. The event will be streamed for participants who are unable to join on the Haaga-Helia campus.
The seminar will explore diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education including the examination of co-curricular community building for online, hybrid, and in-person students; definition and assessment of “campus climate” for students of all university types; challenges of building community in distance/distributed learning environments, among others.
