Apply to COEUR entrepreneurship workshop, Lucerne, Switzerland 2026 - The future of sports and event management

Lucerne

We at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences are excited to invite our students to participate in the 22nd edition of the COEUR Idea Generation Workshop, hosted by Business & Hotel Management School in Lucerne, Switzerland, recognised as the #12 globally in Hospitality & Leisure Management in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026 and is among the leading institutions worldwide.

This year’s workshop in Switzerland promises to be an inspiring and enriching experience, building on the success of previous editions. We encourage you to take this opportunity to develop innovative ideas, collaborate with international peers, and explore Switzerland's unique entrepreneurial landscape.

This year’s COEUR - The Idea Generation Workshop is built around the future of sports and event management, examining how traditional sporting cultures can evolve into digitally enhanced, globally connected event experiences.

“From Arenas to Algorithms: The Event Innovation Challenge”

The hope of adopting this focus is to challenge students to develop ideas which will aim to take these sorts of events to a new level. With Zurich – home of global sports governance institutions such as FIFA, only a short distance away, the region offers a unique perspective on the evolution of global sports and event management.

The developed programme is focused on visits, talks and group sessions which look to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to assist them in developing their creative and sustainable ideas.

There are only 4 spots reserved for Haaga-Helia students in this short mobility programme.
