Spring and summer schedules and enrollment  

Enrollment for 4th period implementations ends on Fri 21 March and enrollment for summer implementations ends on Fri 16 May. There are still places left in many implementations. Please check the list of spring and summer implementations on Master timetable pages. You will find a detailed schedule in Timetable tool (Lukkarikone).  

Curricula and PSP update  

A new curriculum will come into effect for students starting in autumn 2025. The degree structure for current degree students will remain the same, but the courses and their contents will be updated. Therefore, current students will update the new courses in their PSPs. You will receive more information about this during March. Read the instructions carefully. Please remember that study advisors give online technical assistance when preparing the personal study plan (PSP) if needed. Check the online customer service’s schedule on Study Services’ website. You can find the link to the Zoom meeting from Peppi student's desktop. 

Course offering for the academic year 25-26 and enrolment for autumn -25 studies 

The course offering for the next academic year has been published on the Master students' timetable pages. The specific timetables for autumn 2025 will be published on 8.5. in Timetable tool (Lukkarikone). The enrolment for autumn 2025 begins on 14 May at 8.00 and ends on 22 May at 16.00. The second enrolment begins on 2 June at 8.00 and ends at 16.00 on the Friday of the week before the implementation begins. 

New thesis workshop in May 

On Monday 12.5. there will be a new ‘AI in thesis’ workshop. The workshop is multilingual. Presentation is in Finnish with subtitles and English slides. Participants may join conversation either in Finnish or in English. The workshop will be held in Zoom. Enrol for thesis workshop in Webropol. 

Library’s trainings 

Library will arrange training sessions during spring on the following topics: Master's Thesis, Reference management with Mendeley and Data management in thesis. Check the detailed schedules and participation instructions. 

Language Café on Thursdays 

Come to Pasila campus library to chat and enjoy a cup of coffee on Thursdays between 13 and 15 o’clock. It doesn't matter if you only know a few words in Finnish. Check Language Café calendar.

Ask Me Anything: Haaga-Helia International Student Support 

Haaga-Helia organises monthly hour-long online Q&A sessions for international students. You can ask questions about Finnish culture, employment, things to do in Finland, weather, food, or whatever topic suits your needs. Please note that while we will try to answer most questions you have, please do not share any personal details during our Q&As. These sessions will take place on Microsoft Teams. Please note all times are Finnish time (UTC +2).

Employment webinars 

Every month we hold a one-hour online meeting to help students learn more about how to find employment in Finland. We will cover topics like CV, LinkedIn, and keeping motivated during the job search process. These meetings take place on Microsoft Teams and are held in English. Students do not need to make an appointment to attend these sessions. Please note all times are Finnish time (UTC +2).

Thesis

The thesis should be started at the beginning of the third semester i.e. second study year the latest. You can find support and information from Master thesis web page and on the Applied Design Research course. If you don’t have a thesis topic yet, remember to participate in the Master seminar of your specialisation where you can get support for ideation.
