The Career Monitoring Survey provides up-to-date information on the employment situation of graduates, career paths and the general skills needed in the world of work that are common to different sectors. This information is important for the development of education and training and for guidance.
One of the objectives of the national survey is to provide information on whether graduates are satisfied with the education they have received. The Career Monitoring Survey also includes questions selected for the funding model to assess the quality of education. Based on the responses that influence the funding model, the Ministry of Education and Culture allocates 3% of the basic funding to UAS.
The target group of the career monitoring survey are graduates of UAS five years ago
Universities of Applied Sciences want as many graduates as possible to share their experiences of their studies and careers. Therefore, during the survey, Haaga-Helia will also call graduates. This will also give us the opportunity to personally hear alumni's greetings to their alma mater. This year, we aim to reach a total of 1933 alumni.
The Career Monitoring Survey will start this year on 10.10. A link to the survey will be sent to all graduates of bachelor and master degrees in 2019 by email and SMS. Responses will be treated in full confidentiality and will be anonymous, meaning that individual respondents will not be identifiable.
