The new Teams is here

The new Teams is faster and uses less memory than Classic Teams. Teams via VDI is its own application and will be updated automatically in due course.

Microsoft has made changes to the default views of Teams. Your experience will remain the same after you make the following changes to your settings from the three dots on the left side of your profile picture:

Teams groups to list:

Settings > Appearance and accessibility > Layout > List

The old familiar theme:

Settings > Appearance and accessibility > Theme > Classic

Please switch to the new Teams as soon as possible to continue using the desktop version. Please note that the changes apply to the desktop version of Teams, so for the time being, Teams will continue to work as normal in the browser and on the VDI desktop without intervention.
