Innovation projects with Demola

Demola has been running innovation projects for university students for 15 years already. Demola is a unique opportunity to participate in innovation projects and create new concepts and demos for future needs. The interdisciplinary teams consist of students who share a common interest in the project topic and a desire to create new solution concepts and demos. The projects cover a wide range of topics including sustainability, business development, societal and workplace changes, and the use of new technologies. Participants own the rights to the results they develop and are entitled to 5 credits.

The seven-week intensive process focuses on concrete innovation work, using tools of e.g. service design, foresight, and systemic thinking. By participating, you will develop your creativity, curiosity, and optimistic thinking. Demola experts will support and guide the teams throughout the process, and the working language is English.

  • Application deadline: 16.2.2025
  • Project working period: 6.3.–25.4.2025  
  • Important events:  
    • Kick Off (2 days): 6.–7.3.2025  
    • Mid-event: 19.3.2025  
  • Final event in Helsinki: 23.4.2025
