Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences presents an event Campus Finland by Haaga-Helia at Expo2020 Dubai on December 19th.

The event has been designed by a team of Haaga-Helia students who are working as Expo Guides in the Finland Pavilion under the supervision of Avnee Garg and Johanna Mutikainen.

The idea is to showcase Haaga-Helia student competencies and to give the students an opportunity to manage and organize an event at such a large platform. The event is aimed at a global audience who wishes to study in Finland.

One of the main features of the event program is a fun and interactive demo class which is going to be organized in cooperation with ISKU, a Finnish furniture company.

The guests will be divided into various teams each lead by a Haaga-Helia student and they will be given a set of criteria to follow. Within the given time frame, the teams will try to sell an ISKU product that will be allotted to them by Joonas Vikström, Head of ISKU Middle East Division. Through this, Haaga-Helia students aim to showcase how they work in groups and on tasks in Finland, thus giving the audience a first-hand experience.

Other elements of the program include a Kahoot quiz, a video and interactive presentation on Haaga-Helia through the eyes of a student. The evening ends with a special guest, Santa Claus from Finland himself.

More details of the program can be found here.

Haaga-Helia has also collaborated with KONE. The content will be featured in the unique elevator.
