Van Lang University has already become familiar to Haaga-Helia through the Finland Pathway programme (link) that has been launched with the university in 2018 in cooperation with Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences. Through the programme, about 30 Vietnamese students are currently completing their Bachelor's degrees at Haaga-Helia, and five Van Lang lecturers have become acquainted with Finnish pedagogy with JAMK and Haaga-Helia.

In addition to student exchanges, the new mobility agreement enables exchanges of teachers and staff, which may include, for example, lectures, workshops or seminars, research and development activities, and other activities supporting our academic goals.

To celebrate the collaboration, Van Lang University organised a virtual signing ceremony, which was attended by university leaders, students interested in the exchange programme, and the coordinator of the Finland Pathway programme. President, CEO Teemu Kokko and International Affairs Specialist Katri Salmi represented Haaga-Helia at the ceremony.

Van Lang University is a private university founded in 1995 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and they have about 15,000 students. More information about the university on Van Lang University website (link).
