Transnational higher education and pedagogy

Transnational Higher Education and Pedagogy (THEP) is a research group at Haaga-Helia focused on the international transformation of higher education. Its operations are grounded in cross-border collaboration designed to address global societal challenges and technological disruptions.

The primary objective of the group is to develop sustainable pedagogical solutions and advance structural development in higher education. THEP aims to strengthen learner agency while supporting the professional competence and well-being of teachers within evolving environments.

Leveraging the Ulysseus European University alliance as a strategic platform, the group fosters impactful RDI activities and inclusive co-creation involving both students, experts and world of work.

We are open to emerging affordances that create new opportunities for research and development collaboration.
