Ulysseus is an excellency-recognized and internationally attractive open to the world, persons-centred and entrepreneurial European University for the citizens of the future, composed by six Universities: University of Seville (USE), Université Côte d’Azur; (UCA), University of Genoa (UniGe), Technical University of Kosice (TUKE), Management Center Innsbruck (MCI), Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, University of Münster and University of Montenegro. Each partner has an Innovation Hub. Haaga-Helia’s Hub is Applied AI for Business and Education (referred as AI Hub).
In this position, your tasks include
- Supporting event management: preparing materials, managing registrations and participant lists, assisting in email communications and reminders, and assisting during onsite or online events, e.g. helping with event set up, check in, chat moderation and technical support.
- Assisting with administrative tasks: scheduling meetings, taking minutes during meetings as well as maintaining contact lists, simple databases on Microsoft Teams, and shared project documentation.
- Assisting in the organization of AI Hub activities and collection of relevant information.
- Active cooperation with the Project Director, Ulysseus team, and other relevant staff members involved in Ulysseus activities at Haaga-Helia.
We expect you to have
- Proactive touch to work, ability to work both independently and as a part of the Ulysseus team.
- Good administrative skills such as good organizational and time and self-management skills.
- Experience in event organizing and management is considered an asset.
- Good digital skills and ability to work with various tools and platforms (e.g. MS Office/365, Teams, Zoom or similar).
- Other digital skills are an asset.
- Interest in international cooperation, higher education, AI and/or European projects is an advantage.
- Fluent written and oral English skills and sufficient understanding of Finnish.
We offer a dynamic, high-quality and international working environment. We comply with a collective agreement for private education. The internship is paid: 1500 e / month. The post will be located at Pasila campus.
