Summer studies and all year round studies

As a Haaga-Helia student, you have a great chance to study actively throughout the year.

In addition to summer studies, courses are organised during intensive weeks and there are also non-stop virtual courses that you can take whenever it suits you. Check the non-stop course offering from Lukkarikone by group ID NONSTOP and offering for intensive weeks by group ID INTENSIVE.

Also, remember to check Work&Study opportunities and StartUp School offering.

Don't forget the extensive CampusOnline offering. There are nearly 100 non-stop courses available through CampusOnline. You can take non-stop courses whenever it suits you.

Summer semester

Summer studies are a good way to advance studies. As a Haaga-Helia student, you can choose courses provided by Haaga-Helia UAS but also joint summer courses of Haaga-Helia, Laurea, and Metropolia (Helsinki Metropolitan UAS) and CampusOnline virtual courses.

Summer Studies 2024 at Haaga-Helia

Summer 2024 courses are published in Study Guide.

All summer courses are open to all Haaga-Helia students regardless of degree programme. The course admission is done according to Degree Regulations. Please note that many courses have starting level requirements, such as previously completed courses or equivalent knowledge. If you are not sure whether the course can be placed in your personal study plan, please contact your guidance counselor for help.

The details and timetables of the summer implementations will be shown in the summer course information after the timetables have been published on Lukkarikone (Timetable Machine) by 20 November at the latest. You can search for summer courses using either the course code or the group code SUMMER.

Please note that teachers will not be available during their holiday. This period of time is reserved for independent studies.

The enrolment for summer 2024 courses is on 27.11.2023 at 8.00 - 4.12.2023 at 16.00. The post-enrolment for summer courses will start on 2 January 2024.

Open UAS students can search for interesting open UAS summer courses and enrol via open UAS search page starting 8 December at 9.00.

Helsinki Metropolitan UAS summer offering

Haaga-Helia will arrange courses in cooperation with Laurea and Metropolia during the summer 2023 as part of Helsinki Metropolitan UAS cooperation. More information will be published on 3UAS studies website.

CampusOnline.fi

Haaga-Helia students have the possibility to take summer courses also from the extensive www.CampusOnline.fi offering. CampusOnline is a joint virtual course portal for 24 Finnish universities of applied sciences. CampusOnline course offering for summer 2023 is published and enrolment begins 13 March at 8am.

Helsinki Summer University

Helsinki Summer University also offers a large selection of courses. Please note that students are responsible for paying the enrollment fees. If you're not sure whether the course can be placed in your personal study plan, contact your guidance counselor for help. Helsinki Summer University courses are open to everyone. Enrollments are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
