Substance abuse programme

Substance use can have a significant impact on performance and the way people cope at work and in studies. Substance use patterns during the studies can also continue to be similar later in life. That’s why substance abuse should be considered already during the studies.

A student's substance abuse problem can manifest itself as repeated absences, delays, inefficiency, or delays in studies. The substance abuse problem is often associated with other psychosocial problems that can hamper studies and work performance.

In this program, intoxicants refer to alcohol, drugs, and medications used for narcotic and / or intoxicating purposes.

The goal of the substance abuse program is:

  • to promote the ability to study and work,
  • to promote the health and well-being of students,
  • to prevent substance abuse
  • to facilitate addressing a student's substance abuse problem
  • to improve care guidance.
