SCALA - Scalable Mobile Learning Services for Global Markets

Haaga-Helia School of Vocational Teacher Education coordinates SCALA - Scalable Mobile Learning Services for Global Markets project, funded by Tekes and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, BEAM-program.

The SCALA project is operated in collaboration with Brazilian partners and with Lappeenranta Technical University/ Lahti unit, and Finnish companies.

  • The project conducts mobile learning research and
  • pilots & develops mobile learning content in vocational and higher education, in the Sao Paulo area.
  • It develops frugal innovation knowledge and research for developing markets and
  • creates a market strategy for Brazilian markets, suitable for mobile learning products and applications including buyer profiles, purchase- and decisions processes.
