Welcome to start your studies in Haaga-Helia UAS!
Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences is doing preparations for starting the autumn semester. Haaga-Helia’s first period (24. Aug – 16.Oct 2020) will be organised using the so-called blended model, which means that teaching takes place both on campus and remotely.
If you arrive in Finland from a travel restricted country, a mandatory self-quarantine for 14 days is required from you. You must not come to the campus during the self-quarantine period. For more information, read updates regarding the risk areas, and travel regulations from the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare’s website.
If you have enrolled as present for the academic year, please be prepared to show your original degree certificates at the Admission Services/Study services at the start of your studies. The University of Applied Sciences will withdraw the admission, if the applicant has given inadequate or false information in the application process.
During the first day of orientation, we will check your identity. Please take your official ID with you (valid passport or Finnish official ID card or Finnish Driving License or EU/EEA country Identity Card. Other types of IDs are not confirmed).
From the New Student information pages, you can find useful information about the beginning of your studies. It is important that you also pay attention to the degree programme specific materials. From these materials, you will find more information about the programme for the Orientation Days, possible pre-assignments and other useful information regarding the start of your studies.
Enjoy your studies!
