The double degree programme, offered in partnership between Haaga-Helia and Management Center Innsbruck | The Entrepreneurial School®, Austria, opens doors to a realm where the expertise of business insights and the mastery of technological innovation meet. Upon completion, you'll be awarded a Master of Business Administration from Haaga-Helia and a Master of Arts in Business from MCI. These qualifications are not just degrees; they are your passport to a world of advanced career opportunities.
A Curriculum Tailored for Future Leaders Our program equips you with the necessary skills to excel in high-level expert, development, and managerial roles. As a graduate, you'll emerge as a sought-after professional in digital business and management, capable of crafting innovative digital solutions and spearheading digital transformations. Graduates may work as a manager or leading expert in information system development projects, a designer or a lead of digital transformation of business or a consultant in related fields.
Focus on Real-World Skills and International Exposure Your learning journey emphasizes research, development, organizational improvement, and change leadership. We fine-tune your analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, preparing you for real-world challenges. Specialization courses dive deep into digital technologies and business strategies.
Combining studies and work. Studies at Haaga-Helia and MCI make it possible to work alongside studies. In Haaga-Helia, teaching takes place, depending on the course, either fully virtual or including meetings online or on the Pasila campus on weekday evenings from 17.40 to 20.30. At MCI, teaching takes place intensively on campus from Wednesday noon to Saturday afternoon.
International exchange
The programme includes a mandatory international exchange at MCI, Austria. Haaga-Helia double degree students will visit MCI's Management, Communication and IT master's degree programme in their third semester (second semester at MCI) from March to July. Exchange semester includes six 5-ECTS courses. In addition, students participate in International Technology Management course, which they can complete by taking part at a Study Tour to Silicon Valley or alternatively take an online course.
This mandatory international exchange not only enhances your academic experience but also broadens your cultural horizons.
All students will study one semester in MCI Innsbruck in Austria (March-July 2026). For the semester abroad all students will apply for Erasmus+ funding from Haaga-Helia by the end of January 2026 in collaboration with the International Services. The grant is app. 500 € per month and 80% of the whole amount is paid one month prior to the beginning of the exchange and 20% after the exchange and the verification of achieved credits and other documentation. In addition to the Erasmus grant, students are eligible for the monthly governmental support targeted to students according to the national conditions.
For students with special needs, there is a Erasmus top-up grant. More information can be obtained from International Services. All students accepted to the programme are eligible for the Erasmus grant. For students that come from outside EU/EEA area entry regulations to Austria need to be checked from the Embassy in Austria of their home country.
