  • The credit system used at Haaga-Helia is ECTS. One ECTS credit represents approximately 27 hours of studies.
  • The normal course load is 30 ECTS per semester. Haaga-Helia does not have a minimum course load requirement.
  • Each semester at Haaga-Helia includes two periods. Some courses run for one period, some for two periods. Please take this into consideration when planning your course schedule.
  • You should not choose courses which overlap!

Implementations may be canceled due to a low number of participants, or they might be full due to a large number of applicants.

Haaga-Helia grading scale is 1-5, the highest grade being 5.

You do not have to send a request for course approval in Mynet.

Registration for courses is officially confirmed by attending the first meeting of the course. Therefore attending the first meeting is mandatory. If you arrive to Haaga-Helia after the courses have started, you should e-mail the teachers of your courses and inform them that you would like to take part in the course even though you are not able to attend the first lecture. The staff members’ email addresses at Haaga-Helia are always firstname.lastname(at) and the teacher’s name is mentioned in the course description in the course timetable.

Transcript of records (list of grades)

Download your official electronic transcript of records (list of grades and completed courses) from Mynet > My Studies > Certificates for Student.

We are using an electronic transcript of records. The electronic transcript of records is a PDF document equipped with a digital signature to confirm their authenticity and integrity. The digital signature replaces handwritten signatures and stamps. Electronic documents are official only in their digital form and not as paper-printed copies. They cannot be modified, as any change made to the file invalidates the digital signature.

How to check the document’s validity

Exchange students

Haaga-Helia does not send transcripts of records to exchange students or to their home universities anymore. The students are responsible for downloading the transcripts of records themselves.

The electronic transcript/certificate should be a valid alternative in all situations where signed and stamped paper documents are used. In case a stamped and signed version of the transcript is needed this can be requested separately from exch(a)
