The preliminary material and CV template have been published on 3 January 2024 below. Please use Haaga-Helia's own CV template. Attach your CV in pdf/jpg/png format to your application form. If you cannot submit your attachments online, please contact Haaga-Helia's Admission Services. The attachments must be submitted or returned by 24 January 2024 at 15:00 Finnish time at the latest. Any delayed CVs are not considered.
Entrance exam
The entrance examination consists of two phases:
Phase 1: An online multiple-choice test based on pre-materials
Phase 2: A group interview at Pasila campus, Helsinki, Finland
All assignments will be in English. The entrance examination will test applicants' English language skills. A separate test for English language skills will not be arranged. The examination is free of charge.
The invitations to Phase 1 of the entrance examination will be sent via email on 6 February 2024. (Please also check your spam folder. In some cases, entrance examination invitations are automatically redirected to junk mail).

A multiple-choice test will be held online on 14 February 2024, from 18:00 to 19:00 Finnish time in Webropol.
Based on the results of the multiple-choice test, twice the number of eligible applicants in relation to the study places will be invited to the second phase of the entrance examination: Business Technologies and Management max. 20 applicants. The invitations to phase 2 of the entrance examination will be sent via email by 26 February 2024. (Please also check your spam folder. Phase 2. A group interview at Pasila campus, Helsinki, Finland
A group interview will be held on 6 March 2024, from 17:00 to 19:45 Finnish time on Pasila campus. The address is Ratapihantie 13, 00520 Helsinki, Finland. Registration starts at 16:00 Finnish time. NB! You must register for the group interview between 16:00-16:45 o’clock in the lobby of the Pasila campus. Be on time. Applicants arriving late cannot participate in the group interview. It is not possible to participate in the exam remotely. Haaga-Helia is not responsible for visa-related matters.
Identity proofing
Please note that your identity will be checked before the group interview, when you arrive to Pasila Campus. The applicant must show a valid ID when attending the group interview. A valid ID is a passport or a Finnish official ID card or a Finnish Driving License or an EU/EEA country Identity Card. Other types of IDs are not accepted. The following documents are accepted as proof of identity:

another EU/ETA country identity card with a photo
An expired passport or a Finnish ID card is acceptable, provided that it has expired max. one year ago. We must be able to identify you from the picture on your ID. Without a valid ID, you cannot attend the entrance exam.
Hardware and network requirements
The entrance exam phase 1 is a digital exam, completed with the applicant’s own computer. The exam has been designed to be completed by computer so you should not complete the entrance exam by your phone or tablet. Errorless completion of the entrance exam by phone or tablet cannot be guaranteed.
Recommended operating systems are Windows 10, macOS 10.14, and Ubuntu Linux 18.04 LTS or later. We do not recommend using Chromebook with Google Chrome OS.

Please ensure that, on the day of the exam, you have access to a computer that meets the requirements and a reliable internet connection. We recommend the use of a fixed broadband connection.
We recommend that you use a mouse to navigate in the exam system instead of the keyboard.
The applicant is responsible for the functionality of the laptop, including its power supply. The university of applied sciences cannot be held responsible for problem situations related to taking the entrance exam, due to the applicant’s hardware or software or the stability of the internet connection.
Entrance exam points
Phase 1. Entrance examination: Online multiple-choice test based on the pre-material (min. 10 points / max. 50 points):
Part A: min. 4 p, max. 20 p
Part B: min. 3 p, max. 15 p
Part C: min. 3 p, max. 15 p
If based on the total points of the multiple-choice test section, several candidates have equal points, they will be eliminated based on three different parts (A, B, C) in the test and the points obtained from them. In the case of equal points, part A is decisive. If there are still equal points, Part B will be decisive. If there are still equal points, Part C will be decisive. Based on the results of the multiple-choice test, twice the number of eligible applicants in relation to the study places will be invited to the second phase of the entrance examination: Business Technologies and Management max. 20 applicants.
Phase 2. Entrance examination: group interview (NOTE: at Pasila Campus, Helsinki, Finland) (min. 10 points / max. 50 points)
Total: min. 20 points / max. 100 points
Co-operation with other universities of applied sciences
Haaga-Helia's Master's degree programmes accept only entrance examination results gained in its own examination. Scores received in the entrance examinations of other degree programmes in Finland or abroad are not transferrable / accepted to this programme. Haaga-Helia UAS does not arrange the Master degree programme’s entrance examination abroad.
