An online entrance examination consists of two phases:
- First phase - written online exam on 28 September 2022 at 10:00-12:00 Finnish time (UTC/GMT+3).
- Second phase - online Spoken part between 10 October and 13 October 2022. The length of the second phase is 45 minutes.
The entrance examination assesses the applicants’ abilities to study in a university of applied sciences. The entrance examination does not contain any pre-reading materials or pre-tasks.
Invitations to the first phase will be sent by email on 26 September 2022. All eligible applicants who have passed the first phase will be invited to the second phase, the Spoken part, which is a group discussion.
The structure of the entrance examination and minimum/maximum points for each section are shown in the table below.

You must pass each section with the minimum scores mentioned above in order to qualify in the selection process. The essay will be assessed only if the applicant has achieved at least the minimum points in the multiple choice and the logical thinking and mathematics sections. A plagiarism detection system is used in the entrance examination.
Cooperation in organizing entrance examination
This a joint entrance examination for the following Bachelor Degree Programmes, starting in January 2023.
Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, full-time studies:

You must submit your identification document on the Studyinfo’s application form (see accepted documents below) no later than September 21, 2022, at 3 p.m. Finnish time (UTC/GMT+3). If you receive an approved result in the first phase (written examination) but you have not submitted a valid identification document by the given date, you will be rejected from the second phase (spoken part).
Please note that your identity will be checked during the second phase. The identification document that you show in the second phase must be the same document as the one you have submitted on the application form or you will be rejected in the second phase.
The following documents are accepted as proof of identity:
- Finnish identity card with a photo, issued by police
- Finnish driver’s licence
- another EU/ETA country identity card with a photo
Notice, only valid identification documents will be accepted. An expired passport or a Finnish ID card is acceptable, provided that it has expired max. one year ago. We must be able to identify you from the picture on your ID.
The student selection result is valid only for this application period. Scores received in other entrance examinations are not transferable or accepted to these programmes.

Invitations to the entrance examinations will be sent by e-mail. Please note that you must fill in the online application form during the application period (31 August to 14 September 2022, 15.00 Finnish time) in Studyinfo.fi.
