VDI update on Wed 7th September

When you stop using VDI on Tuesday, please sign out or restart the VDI desktop.

VDI desktops in a disconnected state will be shut down on Wednesday morning.

You can use VDI normally on Wednesday morning, active sessions will remain.

Update is a Windows 10 version upgrade 1909 -> 21H2.

Programs have also been updated to the latest versions.

The update takes place in the background and there will be a notification on desktops in use.

The user information, i.e. the profile, is retained in the update.

The first login to the new desktop takes a little longer than normal.

The desktop has been extensively tested but updating the user profile may cause issues.

On the first login, the profile will be updated to Win 10 21H2 format.
